INDUCED DRAFT COOLING TOWER
Induced draft cooling tower is a mechanical draft cooling tower, which is more efficient than forced draft cooling tower as it uses 50% less energy in comparison to forced draft designs.
It is a draw-through arrangement, where a fan mounted on the top pulls the air through fills. The air is drawn into the cooling tower via air intake mesh.
Induced draft cooling tower comes in square or round shape. The distribution of water may be done either by static branch system or by the sprinkler. It is easy to install and maintain. Low noise level is another advantage of induced draft cooling towers.
Cooling tower motor drives the induced draft fan to draw the outside air into the cooling tower, which takes out the vapors resulting in lowering the water temperature.
