With the advent of rapid industrialization there is need for more clean and efficient Power plants These Power plants are characterized by requirements of very high flow rates and high heat rejections. Delta’s DPC-70 series Field-Erected industrial Counter flow cooling towers can serve these applications very effectively. These cooling towers are made from heavy-duty Pultruded FRP sections that can withstand high temperatures, corrosion, industrial shocks, environmental impacts, and heavy wind loads. The Counter flow Induced draft cooling towers with non-clogging spray nozzles and high efficiency honeycomb fills ensure consistent and reliable thermal performance over the service life of the equipment. These towers are also fitted with efficient gear drives and highly efficient aluminum / FRP aerodynamic fans which are connected by fully floating zero-drive loss composite shaft to the motor. The motors are horizontal foot mounted, Totally Enclosed fan Cooled (TEFC), 100% weatherproof and of premium efficiency. All the hardware used is of SS 304 given providing greater reliability and durability throughout the service life of the cooling tower.
